Messages of Hope

The “Messages of Hope” is where Big Oak Wolf Sanctuary will post weekly articles designed to help people who were taught that God was mad at them and desires to punish them, develop a better, more applicable understanding of His love and Grace for them, through analogies derived from how the previously abused wolves respond to the love and grace we continuously extend to them. And, by examining your nurturing heart toward animals, abused or not, in your care or not, and considering how much more our all powerful and loving God loves you and desires to meet your needs and see you happy, than your love for the animals and desire to meet their needs.

Matthew 7:9-11 says, “Which of you if his son asks for bread, will give him a stone? Or if he asks for a fish, will give him a snake? So if you (compared to God) are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your father in heaven give good things to those who ask Him?

When we examine our thoughts and desires toward our animals, we get a mirror image of God’s thoughts toward us and His joy in seeing us happy and enjoying life, as He intended, only His love and desires for good toward us are infinitely more powerful than ours are towards our animals.
