Favorite aspect of the sanctuary: Each respective area is thoughtful and diligent in meeting the day to day needs of each animal. I most enjoy the platforms that move into the trees and on any good spring or fall day you can find a comfortable wolf stretched out on the platform with a cool breeze blowing by.

Favorite wolf and why: I love all animals in general and have grown a fond place for Wolves in particular and find it extremely difficult to name one, all of them are loving, expressive, and diverse. I love them all.

Your role here: Whatever needs to be done, digging ditches, helping to weave fences, building platforms, lifting wood, cleaning pools, feeding, grooming, and simply spending quality time with all wolves.

What being part of this unique mission means to you: I originally volunteered here to help ensure the well-being and safety of a group of wolves that was being supported by one family in need, I thought that I was only going to stay for a short period of time “once the project was complete”, somewhere along the way, I fell in love with a group of wolves that I can relate to, communicate with, and simply love. Maybe I help to eliminate a little bit of stress and left more love in its place for at least one day. I will always hope that I give more than I take.

Favorite Movie: Kill Bill I & II / Titanic
